Universal Sunshade (Full)
If you have an optic that doesn’t have a sunshade available, want to swap a single shade to multiple scopes, or just want an economical accessory with an extremely quick install our universal sunshade (Full) fits the bill. Made out of a Nylon 11 material using an HP MJF 5200 3D Printer. Nylon 11 is slightly flexible to fit over your scope objective without becoming brittle and is strong enough to handle wear and tear. Has a 4-40 bolt and metal thread insert for tighening down the shade to keep it firmly in place. Features a full circular design. Extends approximately 4″ past objective.
To Order please select that shade size that is closest to your objective. Please make sure to include your exact scope model or objective diameter out to .00 in the provided spot on the product page so that we can ensure that the shade will fit your scope model. Please note that this step is required. If you are unsure of how to provide this measurement contact us at [email protected] or give us a call. For example some scope models might have a 40mm objective but the objective opening might be 43mm.

Ordered full sunshade. Doesnt sit well on scope at all, doesnt look nice with the large logo and number printed on it. Overall im upset that vortex recommended me here.

Did you mention exactly what your scope’s objective diameter is? We hold tight tolerances and I’m certain the shade should fit very well on your scope as long as the right size was chosen.

It’s definitely a snug fit on my Vortex 1-4×24… I measured out the tube, came out to be 30mm, the specs sheet said 30mm, and I ordered the 30mm option. It did take some force to try to get it onto the scope, to the point where I thought something was gonna break – it seemed a bit tight. Nonetheless, it’s on there – but it’s also longer than I thought it would be (https://imgur.com/a/6bNEG8z). I can always just cut it down to a shorter length, but it’ll do for now.

Ordered shade for sig sauer 1×6-24 msr lpvo, email communication was fast and patience with all my questions. Received shade surprisingly fast as they make to order. Material feels good, color is good not shiny. The clamp design adds extra grip, mine was snug enough that I didn’t need it but will be useful. Hardware coated black protect against rust. Overall really nice piece and when sig doesn’t make one, thank full MKmaching does. Have not test far distances but close areas the glass flash is gone, next will be honey comb insert. Would order again and consider other products mk sells.
