Description
Proven Low-Profile Billet Performance
The MK Machining 34mm ULP Billet Scope Level is a compact, scope-mounted anti-cant level built for customers who want dependable vial visibility, durable aluminum construction, and a streamlined fit around the optic.
Machined from 6061 billet aluminum and finished with Type III hardcoat anodizing, the ULP provides lightweight strength in a proven low-profile design. Its hinged single-bolt mount installs directly around the 34mm scope tube for a secure, compact fit.
Compact Fit with Flexible Vial Placement
The level is designed so the housing does not extend beyond the optic’s windage and focus knobs, helping reduce unnecessary protrusion and snag risk. The vial can be positioned just beyond the turret profile for easy visibility or mounted on the underside of the scope tube when preferred.
The open housing captures available light for a clear reference from behind the optic, while the highly responsive vial remains quick to settle and easy to read—even in cold conditions.
Straightforward Installation
The hinged design installs around the scope tube and may not require optic removal when sufficient clearance is available. During setup, position the level where it is easiest to view, align the vial with the reticle, and securely tighten the mounting bolt.
The level can be installed on either side of the optic or beneath the scope tube depending on clearance, turret configuration, and user preference.
“Do I get a ULP or XLP Scope Level?”
The ULP is MKM’s proven legacy billet level design, offering straightforward functionality, durable machined-aluminum construction, and strong overall value. For customers seeking our slimmest billet profile and four-sided vial windowing, explore the newer XLP Level Series.
Why do I need a 34mm Ultra Low-Profile Billet Scope Level?
Just a few degrees of cant will cause considerable shot dispersion at longer ranges! If the scope is canted by only 2½ degrees, the bullet will impact .05 mils for every 100 meters in the direction of the cant. This means with only a 2½ degree cant and shot of of 1000 meters would be an impact of .5 mils. A small change can make a big difference and the MKM Ultra Low-Profile Billet Scope Level is the perfect solution.
But don’t just take our word for it. Here is a quote from Bryan Litz regarding Rifle Cant. Bryan Litz is the owner of Applied Ballistics and multiple time national and international competitive shooting champion.
As a general rule of thumb (for common cartridges) “a 1° Cant will produce five (5) inches of lateral displacement at 1000 yards. Thus, if you Cant your rifle just 8°, the POI would move 40″ from the center of the target, putting the shot off the edge of a 72″-wide target.” -Bryan Litz

I have a spuhr mount and decided to give this a try. In short it’s perfect. Easily viewed without sticking out too much. Light and strong. The hinge makes it easier to make adjustments when setting it up. Even the pin on top of the bubble is in the right spot as if it’s hard to see the level lines just line up the bubble with the pin. The only criticism I have is that screw that’s used is a different head than a scope mounting screw. If you’re in the market you can’t go wrong with this one.

Received and mounted today. The overall design and finish are exceptional. This level is a great value for those looking for quality workmanship. As an added incentive, this product comes with a lifetime warranty. Very pleased with purchase. Would definitely purchase again for other builds.

Very nice level, used it last weekend to take my 6.5 Creedmoor to a mile. Developed a small crack in the bubble vial, they sent replacement the same day I emailed them!! Thanks.

after trying about 5 other levels I stumbled on MKMs level and thought that’s pricy for what is essentially a 5 dollar part. in the end I figured it was worth a shot since every other time I went cheap. I wasn’t happy. this thing is great. getting it mounted was a little funky requiring adjustment on every screw turn. once set though this level does it’s job, shows if you are canted or not but more importantly our of the way and just in eye line for when I need it. it’s also built like a tank (relatively speaking) I’m not worried about it and it’s just there when I need it.
