The MK Machining SLP Scope-Mounted Bubble Level is our entry-level, budget-friendly option for precision shooters, hunters, and rifle builders who want dependable anti-cant performance in a compact package.
Inspired by the proven low-profile design of our XLP line, the SLP provides a clear, easy-to-read leveling reference in a durable Nylon 11 polymer construction made with cutting-edge MJF technology. Its slim 0.450-inch housing takes up minimal space on the optic tube, while the thin 0.170-inch mounting band fits nearly any scope and ring configuration.
Installation is simple. The level mounts with two screws and can be aligned directly with your reticle. When your setup has at least 0.325 inches of clearance between the scope and rail, the SLP can be installed without removing the optic. Setups with less clearance may require the scope to be removed during installation.
A white (black for grey models) indexing line makes the bubble easy to center, and the vial is windowed on all sides to capture more available light for improved visibility. The level vial is also user-replaceable for straightforward long-term service.

Why do I need a SLP Polymer Scope Level?
Just a few degrees of Cant will cause considerable shot dispersion at longer ranges! If the scope is Canted by only 2½ degrees, the bullet will impact .05 mils for every 100 meters in the direction of the Cant. This means with only a 2½ degree Cant and shot of 1000 meters would be an impact of .5 mils. A small change can make a big difference and the MKM Slim-Low-Profile Polymer Scope Level is a great solution.

As a general rule of thumb (for common cartridges) “a 1° Cant will produce five (5) inches of lateral displacement at 1000 yards. Thus, if you Cant your rifle just 8°, the POI would move 40″ from the center of the target, putting the shot off the edge of a 72″-wide target.” -Bryan Litz
