Ultralight Utility Compact Grip (ULCG)

The Ultralight Utility Compact Grip (ULCG) lineup, designed in conjunction with Driven Arms Co, provides users an ergonomic and “low-drag” interface point, at a notably low weight. These two Utility models additionally offer secure storage via a removal/interchangeable floorplate, with the total package weighing in at 45 grams, *including hardware*.

Optimized for compact applications, the ULCG features a shallow grip angle of 10.4° for greater comfort and promotion of a more natural + sustainable grip. This, mixed with the proprietary texture options and anti-slip ledge on the bottom, ensures the end user consistent and reliable control.

Unique internal geometry brings surprising strength and rigidity to the ULCG with a minimal amount of material usage. Made in the USA: Additively Manufactured by MKMachining on their MJF 5200, from PA11 material. Each unit includes mounting hardware and is supported with a lifetime warranty.

This is an exceptional grip. The quality of the printed plastic is great, as is the detail of all the molded features. I’m currently using this on a short barreled PCC, where the relatively steep grip angle is ideal. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the attachment interface a bit narrower, as it is a bit wobbly before the screw is tightened fully. (I used a bit of shim stock on mine for a good tight fit.)

The contours of the grip fit my medium sized hands very well, and also work for my wife who has small hands.

    Highly recommended.

I’ve had a few of these grips and just received a few more. Really like the ergonomics and storage compartments features of this grip. Just tried a grey one- my only complaint is the quality of the finish. Rather than a consistent grey all the way through, mine appears rather blotchy, with a decent amount of black/darker shading on most edges and random areas of the grip. Almost looks like black plastic automotive trim that’s been faded/sun bleached from UV exposure baking in the sun. Will be ordering an FDE version, hopefully that one turns out better.

      Hi Alex,

That gray will even out over time, it is the “natural” print color and will soak up some hand oils for a consistent gray. We can cerakote gray, but it will cost more!
